Installation

Unpack and inspect all components. Ensure proper ventilation area.

  1. Mount furnace: Secure to RV floor or wall using provided brackets.
  2. Connect gas line: Use approved LP gas hose and fittings.
  3. Wire electrical: Connect 12V DC power with proper fuse protection.
  4. Install thermostat: Mount in desired location and connect wires.
  5. Check venting: Ensure exhaust vent is clear and properly routed outside.

WARNING! Installation must be performed by qualified technician. Ensure all gas connections are leak-tested.

First-Time Setup

Power on furnace; follow startup procedure.

  1. Check gas supply: Ensure propane tank is open and has sufficient fuel.
  2. Set thermostat: Turn to desired temperature setting.
  3. Ignition sequence: Furnace will automatically attempt ignition.
  4. Test operation: Verify heat output and blower operation.
  5. Adjust settings: Use thermostat for temperature control.

CAUTION! Ensure proper ventilation during initial operation. Check for gas odors immediately.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access controls via thermostat or furnace control panel.

Thermostat: POWER, Temperature setting, Fan control, Mode selection.

Temperature: Set desired heat level. Fan: Auto or Continuous modes. Mode: Heat Only or Heat with Fan. Safety: Automatic shut-off if flame failure detected. Maintenance: LED indicators for system status.

Connecting Gas & Power

Gas connection: LP gas line with shut-off valve. Electrical: 12V DC with fuse.

  1. Turn off all power and gas before connecting.
  2. Connect gas line using approved fittings and sealant.
  3. Wire 12V DC positive and negative to appropriate terminals.
  4. Install proper fuse in power line (typically 15A).
  5. Test all connections for leaks and proper operation.

Tip: Always use gas leak detector solution on all connections.

Operating the Furnace

Supports automatic temperature control and manual override.

  1. Startup: Set thermostat above current room temperature.
  2. Ignition: Listen for spark and burner ignition.
  3. Operation: Blower will start once heat exchanger warms.
  4. Adjustment: Change temperature setting as needed.
  5. Shutdown: Set thermostat to lowest setting or turn off.
  6. Fan delay: Blower continues after burner shuts off to dissipate heat.
  7. Mode selection: Choose between automatic and manual fan operation.
  8. Temperature limits: Built-in high-limit switch prevents overheating.

WARNING! Never operate without proper ventilation. Ensure exhaust vent is clear.

Safety Features

Flame Failure Detection: Automatically shuts off gas if flame extinguishes. Overheat Protection: High-limit switch turns off burner if temperatures exceed safe levels. Vent Safety: Pressure switch ensures proper venting before ignition.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Turn off power and gas before maintenance. Clean air intake and exhaust regularly.

CAUTION! Use only approved cleaning methods. Never use water or liquid cleaners on electrical components.
