Installation

Unpack and inspect all components. Ensure furnace is turned off before beginning installation.

  1. Select mounting location: Choose warm air supply duct near furnace.
  2. Install mounting brackets: Secure to ductwork using provided hardware.
  3. Connect water supply: Use 1/4-inch copper tubing to water source with saddle valve.
  4. Connect drain line: Attach 3/4-inch hose to drain connection and route to floor drain.
  5. Install bypass duct: Connect between supply and return air ducts.
  6. Wire humidistat: Connect to 24V furnace transformer following wiring diagram.

WARNING! Turn off furnace power before installation. Ensure all connections are water-tight.

First-Time Setup

After installation, power on furnace and humidifier system.

  1. Set humidity level: Adjust humidistat to desired setting (30-50% recommended).
  2. Test operation: Run furnace to verify humidifier activates properly.
  3. Check water flow: Ensure even distribution across evaporator pad.
  4. Verify drainage: Confirm proper water flow to drain.
  5. Set seasonal mode: Select appropriate setting for current climate conditions.

CAUTION! Do not set humidity above 50% to prevent condensation issues.

Specifications
