Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper location with adequate clearance.

  1. Position furnace: Place on level surface with minimum 12-inch clearance on all sides.
  2. Connect ductwork: Attach supply and return ducts securely.
  3. Connect gas line: Use approved gas piping and fittings (qualified technician only).
  4. Connect electrical: Wire to appropriate power supply (120V/240V).
  5. Connect thermostat: Install compatible digital thermostat.
  6. Vent installation: Install exhaust and intake vents according to local codes.

WARNING! Installation must be performed by qualified HVAC technician. Improper installation can cause fire hazard or carbon monoxide poisoning.

First-Time Setup

Power on furnace; follow startup sequence.

  1. System check: Allow furnace to complete self-diagnostic cycle.
  2. Thermostat setup: Program desired temperature schedules.
  3. Mode selection: Choose between Auto, Manual, or Economy modes.
  4. Temperature calibration: Adjust temperature offset if needed.
  5. Filter installation: Install clean air filter before first use.

CAUTION! Ensure proper ventilation and clear combustion air intake. Test carbon monoxide detectors.

Specifications
